Frode Hegland

Director/CEO

Frode is a Norwegian native living and working in London. His philosophy of 'liquid information' led to the formation of The Hyperwords Company, now the Liquid Information Company, where he focuses on making textual environments more liquid and on teaching why this is important and how it can be done.

He previously designed the Liquid Information email & usenet newsgroup system and co-produced the Invisible Revolution documentary on Doug Engelbart. Frode graduated from Syracuse University in New York, with an advertising degree and has a Masters in Human Computer Interaction from University College London.

Keith Martin

Education and Design

Keith is a Senior Lecturer in Publishing at the University of the Arts London, teaching publishing, editorial and design for print and digital media in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He is also the Technical Editor of MacUser magazine. He has written and contributed to a wide range of articles and to numerous books on the subjects of design and production for print and digital media, including The Digital Designer’s Bible. Keith has been designing and developing content, structure and interaction logic for digital media since 1989.

Ed Leahy

Marketing

Ed served three years in the US Army as a 1/LT and helicopter pilot. He then began his career in advertising as an Assistant Art Director with the New York City ad agency BBDO. Ed had both copy and art responsibilities for his accounts. Next, he spent 7 years as Executive Art Director at Carrafiello Diehl & Associates where he designed the complete introductory advertising program for Centrum vitamins. Ed later left to become a Professor of Visual Communications at Syracuse and pursue his own ventures. Ed has also founded Shadowbox Communications.

Paul Presley

Publishing

Paul is best known as an interactive entertainment journalist, covering the world of computer and video gaming for a variety of print, web and digital publications. From reviews to previews to in-depth features, he has written for a wealth of UK and international magazines, including the award-winning PC Zone where he spent five years as Online Editor. Paul has had a twenty-five year career in magazine publishing, spanning almost every aspect of the business, from advertising to editorial and production. Today, Paul runs Monyo Publishing, his own design and publishing business, specialising in digital magazine titles.
