At its simplest Live Globe is a 3D globe you can spin around and enjoy the beauty of our planet - there is nothing cluttering the view and you can even see into the oceans. Tap anywhere to see the names and outlines of countries or oceans. Tap again to hide the names and outlines. You can have one or many areas selected, or none. It's up to you. This makes it much easier to learn geography than having all the regions named all the time. Enoy the high resolution beautiful globe by pinching to zoom in so you can see regional borders within countries. You can also see cities, with the world's capitol cities marked with their borders, not simply shown as dots, giving you a better idea of their size and location. Tap any name to get Wikipedia, Google News, YouTube (iPad Only), Flickr, Lonely Planet, Twitter and a local Map.
